Clean-er-uppers out in force

The Clean-er-uppers were out in force this morning for Clean Up Australia Day. Around town bagged up  volunteers could be seen spreading out from Clayton Park and Bakers Flat picking up refuse along the beaches, in various urban nooks and crannies  where waste  gathers.

Beachmere is a tidy town but every now and then it warrants a good cleanse.
