School Garden Grows Stuff For 2016

The school garden began the term with weeds a'plenty and all the impacts of the Summer heat and school break neglect.
But after a lot of recovery work the crops are a comin' on and the beds have been renovated. Because of the heat we've moved a lot of activities into the shade tunnel while outside has not been kind to many seedlings.
With the Autumn plantings due, the children have been growing our requirements from seed.
In production already are corn, luffas, zucchini, cucumbers, sunflowers, some herbs, lettuces, pumpkins, eggplant and tomatoes.
With this rain all systems are go.
